Daisy Robinton

Biography

Dr. Daisy Robinton loves life’s little surprises — especially the new, different and weird. It’s no surprise, then, that she takes an unconventional approach to most things in her life, including her career. As a molecular biologist, storyteller and lifestyle fitness model, she has traveled all over the world working for brands like Athleta, Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch, Powerade and Schwarzkopf. Her modeling career, which began before university, grew in parallel with her studies in molecular biology, aging and longevity science.

Daisy completed her PhD in Human Biology and Translational Medicine at Harvard University in 2016, having completed academic research that landed her on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2017. Daisy’s passion for the effective communication of science has fueled her years of speaking, teaching and consulting on numerous projects in the US and abroad, including two TEDx talks that have over 150K views, and speaking on stages such as the WIRED Health conference in London. Additionally, Daisy works with brands like Neutrogena and lululemon to connect with consumers about aging science and bioengineering. Daisy helps companies, brands and the world prepare for the way bioengineering is redefining the future of what it means to be human.

In addition, she is a co-founder of Weird and Wonderful, a production company aimed at bridging the knowledge gap in science by connecting with creativity and entertainment to engage, educate and inspire people from all walks of life. Her work focuses especially on bioengineering, genetic engineering and the future of human health, wellness and longevity.

When not working to inspire new ways of thinking and envision the future of humanity, Daisy loves to travel, explore the world and be active with both her body and her mind. She is an avid yogi, CrossFitter, stand-up paddler, runner, dancer, mover and shaker!
