Luke Worthington

Biography

Luke Worthington is a qualified Sports Scientist, Personal Trainer, Sports Massage Therapist, and Nutritionist. He has also trained extensively with the Postural Restoration Institute in Nebraska, USA; learning how to integrate the respiratory and nervous systems with human movement.


Currently Luke divides his time between training his own private clients, educating and mentoring other fitness professionals, consulting with Nike, media and speaking opportunities, and providing technical and movement direction for film and photoshoots. He is also the head trainer for the BAFTA nominated ITV series ‘Harrys Heroes’.


Having spent several years in both the commercial gym sector working with general fitness clients, and freelancing within professional sports – Luke found some success training World Champions across 5 different sports.


Luke has since developed a niche applying athletic training principles in the entertainment sector, and has trained Oscar and Emmy winning performers for some of the biggest roles on screen.He has prepared artistes for the lead roles in major film and television productions such as Star Wars and Killing Eve, and in the the world of theatre prepared the leads for Tina, Aladdin, 42nd Street and Hairspray.


Luke’s belief is that we can optimise our physical potential by understanding the relationship between biomechanics, neuromechanics, psychology and emotional wellbeing. Once we understand that these systems are in fact one – we can truly understand what we are capable of.
